  • Little People, Big World is coming back on September 29 on TLC.

  • A recent press release indicates that it will be the “end of an era” for Amy Roloff.

  • One site suggested that this may be the last season of Little People, Big World.

What we do know for sure is that Little People, Big World is coming back to TLC this fall — what we don’t know is whether or not this will be the final chapter for the beloved Roloff Family.

Hearsay about this newest season possibly being the last started when The Hollywood Gossip blog began questioning the wording from a TLC press release about the show. The press release, which also stated that new episodes will be coming out on Tuesday, September 29, reads:

It’s the end of an era on LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD as Amy prepares to say goodbye to the farm for good. But while she’s officially moving off the farm, she still co-owns part of it with Matt, who is eager to get everything settled between them in terms of ownership. Meanwhile, Zach and Tori are experiencing the joys and challenges of parenthood with baby Lilah and Jackson, making sure both children are getting the care and attention they need. The new episodes also offer a glimpse into how the Roloff’s world is impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, from a quarantine birthday party to the stress of moving in the middle of a pandemic.

The blog post points out that the opening line stating that it’s the “end of an era on Little People, Big World …” makes it sound like the show may be wrapping up for good after over 14 years on air. Good Housekeeping reached out to get comment from TLC about the rumors, but we have yet to hear back from reps.

At this point, it’s important to reiterate that talk of the show ending is nothing but hearsay. What’s more, none of the Roloffs have made any comment about ending the series, so we’re taking it all with a grain of salt for now.

If, and that’s a big if, for some crazy reason this does end up being the last season of Little People, Big World though, we will make sure to cherish each and every upcoming episode this fall. Plus, we can always follow Amy Roloff and the rest of the family on Instagram for important life updates. But again, that’s worst case scenario.
