For the second week in a row, the Cardinals of South Shelby High are preparing for another high school football battle on the prep gridiron without their new head coach. We’ll have an update from Shelbina, Missouri where (0-1) SSHS is scheduled to host Putnam County on “Football Friday Night.”

On the prep fairways, Quincy High is set to return to action at the Macomb Country Club where the undefeated Bombers of MHS will be ready to go. Galesburg High will also be on the greens in search of a few birdies in McDonough County. We’ll chech in with Blue Devils head coach Randy Mettemyer who is in his first year at the helm of the program after serving as an assistant coach for the past decade.
