Hatchets close regular season with win over Big Rapids

MOUNT PLEASANT – The Bad Axe boys soccer team wrapped up the 2020 regular season with a 3-0 victory over Big Rapids at a game played in Mount Pleasant on Thursday.

Scoring goals for the Hatchets were Liam Boyle, Nick Errer  and Aaron Sowles. Noah Kerwin and Kai Whipple added assists. Mitchell Rowland and Brady Talaski combined for six saves in goal.

The Hatchets finish the regular season with and overall record of 12-1-1 and 7-0 in conference play.

Bad Axe opens up district play on Monday in Ithaca.

USA boys soccer loses district opener at Essexville Garber

ESSEXVILLE – The Unionville-Sebewaing Area boys soccer team dropped their district opener to host Essexville-Garber, 3-1, on Wednesday evening.



The Patriots wrapped up the 2020 season with a conference record of 4-2 and and an overall record of 6-3-1.
